Training is appropriate for all behavioral health professional license’s continuing education.
New Mexico Department of Health Office of Community Health Workers (OCHW): Approved NMDOH/OCHW CEU Provider (Expiration: 10-21-22)
NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors):
Centene has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6673. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Centene is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Texas: As of 5/1/21: In accordance with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council, Centene’s CE Program follows the rules for the CE Provider outlined by Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors (LPC), Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and the Texas Board of Social Work Examiners (SW). It is the licensee’s responsibility to ensure the applicability of the topic for their profession and adherence to the CE requirements for their specific board.
Continuing Education Approvals Through Other CE Providers or Boards: There may be trainings where Centene has applied and been granted the ability to offer CEs or CMEs through other CE Providers or CE Boards. Please see those training registrations and/or agendas for those approvals. If you have questions about other CE approvals that are not listed on this page, please contact the CE Program Administrator.
In order to receive CE’s participants must attend entire course, complete the pre-test, and the post-test. All attendees are offered an evaluation. If all requirements are completed, participants will receive their CE eligible certificate within 30 days via email. Board approvals will be listed on the certificate. If a board is not listed, professionals will need to submit the training to their board for approval.
Course Fees and Cancellations:
Training is offered at no cost. Cancelations would be appreciated 24 hours in advance of the training. In the rare occurrence that Centene needs to cancel or reschedule a training event, attendees will be notified by email as soon as possible.

Certificates will be issued to all participants that met the CE requirements within 30 days. A certificate will be emailed to the participant.
